One of the most overlooked and undervalued aspects on land in agriculture production is leveling and drainage management.  Improved yield and irrigation efficiency are just two of the many benefits associated with grade-leveling a farm.  Lauritsen Farms spends the winter months between crops focused on improving the drainage on its various farms for optimal return.  We utilize our own scrapers and state of the art GPS field leveling technology.  For land owners, there are several government-sponsored programs available to help defray the costs of these land improvement measures.
